Jenison Lacrosse was formed in 2015 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the desire to bring the sport of lacrosse to the Jenison community. It is widely known as the fastest game on two feet. Jenison Lacrosse currently provides opportunities for players from 3rd grade through High School for boys and 4th grade through High School for girls. Our numbers continue to grow with each passing year.
Practice locations are fields between the Jenison Junior High and High School. Additional practice locations are at nearby Elementary Schools. The youth game field is between the Junior High soccer field and High School soccer field. Varsity games are held on the Junior High soccer field. If you are ever nearby in the Spring stop by to watch a game or practice.
Lacrosse is a Spring sport. The youth season begins in mid to late March and ends in late May. The High School season is set by MHSAA guidelines.
The Boys High School team is fully funded through the Athletic Department and is open to Jenison Public School students. The High School Boys lacrosse has officially become the 25th sport at Jenison High School. The Girls High School team is now a self-funded Varsity sport through Jenison Public Schools. Both Boy's and Girl's Youth programs are club sports not affiliated with Jenison Public Schools.
